A brand has only one chance to launch.
Help Simple Feast translate the success they found in Denmark to their new US home in Southern California. This meant helping the brand evolve into something distinctly American yet never losing the Copenhagen soul that makes the brand special.

Out approach needs to be comprehensive and cohesive, impacting brand strategy and setting a foundation for all customer touchpoint from customer experience to online experience and everything in between.

Developing the Strategy

Wildstory’s Chief Strategist, Marc Gutman, sat down with CEO Ryan Evans and the team at Simple Feast, to craft the brand’s strategy for the upcoming brand launch. Over a two-day facilitated session over Zoom (due to the COVID 19 pandemic), Marc surfaced the challenges the organization faced. In the process, they prioritized the needs and goals of the business and its customers. This became the foundation for the branding and marketing plans for the 2020 brand launch.

Understanding the Customers

Simple Feast delivers food but they are all about people. If there is no one to receive and enjoy a Simple Feast meal, there is no purpose. No reason for the brand to exist.

To understand the needs of these customers, we created unique user profiles to represent the range of core and growth customers. This painted a clear picture of their demographics, psychographics needs and wants.

Defining the Brands

Through a series of exercises in a strategy session, we were able to extract and refine the key pillars of the brand. This defined the brand’s personality:how it should look, sound, and act.

Positioning

Understanding what the Simple feast brand is and who they are champion for, helped define the positioning statement of the organization. This set the tone for everything created for the brands.

Simple Feast's Global Leadership Team consists of a broad spectrum of leaders from across industries and around the world. This group came together alongside Marc and the Wildstory team in order to bring the successful and mission-orientated values of the Simple Feast Danish brand, to the West Coast of America.
